Our Lay Readers and Eucharistic Ministers are composed of number dedicated parishioners who have an incredible record of faithful participation at Masses and numerous special liturgies, events and Holy Days.

This group assists the clergy by reading lessons, leading prayers and assisting at the altar during the celebration of the Mass. Participation is by invitation only from the Rector. Candidates who are chosen audition for reading and attend training sessions that are offered for all new members and occasional refresher courses provided for the entire group.

The role of the Lay Reader and Eucharistic Minister is very much a servant role and those who participate do so in the footsteps of Our Blessed Lord who came to earth and walked among us in great humility and servitude.

NOTES:
8:00am Mass: Lay Reader will read both lessons.
9:30am Mass: (2) Lay Readers: O.T. and N.T.

Lay Readers should be prepared to read both the Old Testament Lesson.

Be sure your reading is properly marked.

During the Fifty Days of Easter the Old Testament Lesson is replaced by the readings from the Acts of the Apostles.
